This applique and embroidery story is inspired by Operatic theatre set designs. The Opera Tattoo Dress is embroidered in layers of tonal applique onto a fine dot tulle to portray the shadowy layers of theatre sets, finished with striking, colourful sequin borders, reminiscent of the gilt edging on classical columns.
